Alternative to Lendingclub – U-Haul

Ok I just found an alternative to the regular P2P sites like lending-club and its actually backed by real assets and a proven company.  U-Haul has a semi-p2p service where regular Joes like ourselves can invest in helping U-Haul business around the US purchase addition vehicles and supplies at reasonable interest rates.

 

Note unlike lendingclub or prosper the money you invest is actually backed by an no kidding real wold asset i.e a truck, a dolly or a trailer hitch.  Lendingclub and prosper are unsecured loans just like a credit card there is no “car” to repo with lending club.  However, with this service offered by U-Haul there is a”truck” that can be reposed if need be to get back your principal investment.
